What Kwai really revealed is what we all knew - WOTC was always the puppet master and the CRC just executed the wishes of WOTC. They decided to roll forward with a 🦋change that WOTC didn't approve of and it backfired - a💫nd WOTC being "handed" the CRC is really a misnomer. They demanded it after the blunder.
