Yes, I know I am responding to rage-bait, but the way you treat gunpla is basically the way I treat warhammer (and other wargames). I want to assemble and paint the models, I rarely ever play (minor lie, if these models see the tabletop, it is almost always in RPGs and not actual wargames...). And I am just as like💦ly to buy a kit and build it into a diorama that can't be used in a game.

With a title like "misses the point" I was expecting to find out that the Gundam Assemble figures were all going to come in monochrome sprues, be more or less monopose the way standard wargame models are, and completely lack all the specific *modeling* extras that Gunpla comes with out of the box and requires conversions for most wargames. But your rant is just that you are far 🌳too competitive and as soon as something you do can be a compet🥀itive that is the only thing that matters to you.
