This latest "update" has been the absolute worst as far as optimization goes. COD/Warzone has always been a cluster of poorly optimized garbage, but this last update takes the cake. I used to be able to average 120fps on my rig, a far cry from what it should be capable of doing, however, it was still playable, despite the amount of bugs and server lag. Now I'm lucky to get 70fps. The big Warzone map is the same as the previous iteration of the game, but I get nearly half the performance. Even the new Resurgence map, being smaller, I struggle to get 100fps. There is no excuse for this in 2025, and I refuse to put up with it anymore. Terrible performance, awful servers, a joke of "sbmm", rampant cheaters, and more micro transactions to make this game essentially Fortnite but not a car♓toon. There is very little to keep me playing this game anymore. I'm glad they're losing players, this formula is getting stale for them, and they need to change it up. I'm fed up with playing a 2019 era PS4 game with the absolute worst optimization of literally any game in the last 10 years and being gaslit into believing it's "next gen" anything. I'm perfectly happy playing Marvel Rivals while COD figures out their existence.
