Jean Grey is ridiculously low on this list. I like the description better than most (thank you for highlighting that she's insanely powerful without the Phoenix Force instead of making like it's the only reason she has power) which is nice, but SOOO many of the X-Men's most beloved stories are centered around Jean and/or her offspring that they even bleed into other non-X titles. Putting her at second to last is just....silly! And Wolverine at number one? If it was a popularity contest, sure maybe, but he's not "the greatest" X-Me𒁏n character by a longshot. He's definitely up there, no doubt, but a lot of his stories are based on his own side issues and not necessarily the X-Universe as a whole. Professor X, Magneto, Jean, Storm, and Wolverine (in no particular order there) should round out the top half of that list. I feel like Cyclops should be up there too, but without Jean's storylines, he doesn't shine as bright as the others. He's at his best when Jean is around and, even if she isn't around or alive (at the time), he still spends most of his time brooding about Jean's absence.
