The fallacy in your statement is that those yelling loudly online represent the true voice of gamers. Real gamers just want good games. It doesn't matter what the agenda is, preachy writing is always bad writing, bu𝔉t there's nothing inherently wrong with strong female leads or que🐻er people in games for example. Just make the writing good, and make the character designs badass and cool so players want to be them. That's it.
