Gladissims Woke elements by themselves aren't necessarily bad for sales if they're done in a way that feels authentic. It's the condescending, self-righteous, virtue signaling, in-your-face, lecturing variety that's bad, and that's "the way that the world (i.e. their echo chamber in the industry) is right now." But the backlash i♚s real, and so is the underperformance of those studios, and the layoffs that follow. Hence.... the markets are speaking.
