Same, I'd had z🌌ero interest in trying it until it ended up in my stocking, I gave it a real try but couldn't push through, the writing is god awful, and not because of any "woke" silliness others are complaining about, it's just very bland and uninteresting, a lot of adventures were had and nothing was ever done in them, lol

Been playing games actively for 35 years, I remember the hype of getting up first thing in the morning and RUSHING to the game store to grab the l🐷atest fare, tearing open the case to get a snippet of info from the booklet inside, just a level of giddiness that hasn't existed in me for going on 4 years now.

It's not burn out, I sti🧸ll actively play, finish, and enjoy my gaming experiences but I'm not longer excited for the release, I don't pre-order anything anymore, typically I give a game a couple weeks for review embargos and misinformation to clear the way for hon𓂃est player reactions.

You just can📖't trust that a game will come out working, or even will get entirely fixed anymore, it's a🙈 sad state.

It's a constant issue in all modern media, games, shows, movies, you have a lot of👍 new bloo🌌d trying to prove themselves and a lot of bog egos thinking they can do better.

The problem is that people aren't coming to The Witcher to see some tools creative tho🌟ught process or first time writing outside of their pꦺersonal fanfic circles, they're coming to see The Witcher, the one they largely know.

Dragon Age 🅷has a similar problem in gaming, people want to blame it on being woke but it's really more a struggle with big personalities thinking they know or can do better than what people already liked about a thing.
