Steam is guilty of everything Epic is guilty over, and more, on top of stealing 30% from all developers, especially indie developers who earned🌺 that money through hard work and intense labor.

There is really no argument to be made that EGS isn't vastly superior to Steam, just on how they treat developers alo🐓ne.

If you want to support the games you play, then EGS is no contest. 0% vs 30%, that's just incredible. Imagine if any other store charged 30% compared to 0%. If your phone or food cost 30% more. If the indie FLGS got 30% less money to stay open. That's incredible, yet consumers want their beloved devs to lose 18%-35% just so they can use their always-on DRM web store app? That's just insane levels of anti-support to your friendly local indie developers, not to mention ꦕmargins that brick & mortar stores live or die on 10x over.

When you'rꦗe talking about millions of dollars for an indie title, what would you rather have? The game on Steam instead of Epic, or literally millions of dollars more for the developers to expandඣ their team, make more games, make their games bigger - games you loved enough to buy?

There is no contest in any way, except in the most myopic self-interest of "I want to play this on▨e title, o💖n Steam, for small reasons, even though it will reduce the quality, increase the speed, or even not see further games like it developed by the same developer."

Yea. Real smart to use Steam.
