This article is really bad. You're saying fromsoftware need to make something 'new and different' and then you also say they should make: "new King’s Field, a revival of a classic like Kuon" So you're ok with returning to alreadyౠ existing franchises but just not Elden ring???

Theres no actual rationale as to why 🎃theyဣ shouldn't make another Elden ring. You've just used buzzwords like 'taking risks' instead of actually making a point

The idea that an Elden ring 2 wouldn't be 'new a🥃nd different' is just a baseless assumption firstly and secondly the souls games are all quite similar to each other. They have a few differences but they have core similarities.

You say there's more "fertile ground" that can be explored. No there isn't. The world of Elden ring is the best setting that Fromsoftware have ever created. There's still so much they can build on and explore. Inܫstead of making an great setting and then discarding it to just make another one it would be better to continue building what you already have.
