7 Things That Make No Sense In Cl꧂air Obs𝔉cur: Expedition 33
Most of those points are actually explained in the game. It's clear yo💫u've not been paying attenti𓂃on.
7: I am also confused by this one. It's clear the Dessendres don't think much about the people of the canvas. But it might just be to show that Renoir is not being the voice of reason he thinks he is either. He is extremely controlling a💫nd stubborn in his own way, and uses the excuse of saying Aline would find the Canvas wherever he hides it as an excuse because he actually wants to destroy it as a way to move on.
6: It's very obvious that Verso is not being honest with the team during act 2 and hides most of his motivations. He is steering them towards killing the paintress, something they wouldn't agree to if they knew what it actually meant. One expedition (the 60) already discovered the truth about Renoir being the one causing the Gommage. Verso hides the fly stone so that the expedition cannot discover too much about the reality of the world until his goals are done. In the cutscene during the paintress fight, Lune is clearly aware of his ♍bullshit, just pay attention to the look she throws at him.
5: Your explanation is as good as any. Aline blames Alicia for Verso's death and🧸 might have painted her like this as a form of inconscious vengeance.
4: Maelle explains that with her current skill as a paintress she can only ressurect people she can find easily in the Chroma. She can ressurect Lune and Sci👍el because they were just gommaged. They then as😼k if she can bring back the others and she explains why she can't at this point. It's very clearly stated.
🥀3: No explanation for this one either. But "Clea Prime" painted over Aline's Clea so she might just have erased ൲her immortality doing so.
2: It's a terrible plot issue. The authors clearly consider, as the Dessendres do, that the people in the painting are not "real" people. It's wrong, but🌠 it's no♔t a plot hole, rather an authorial decision.
