Seems like it's really just a worse time for the author. If you're seeing American colonialism in this and becoming offended, you might need to consider taking a break from social media for awhile. It's a stretch to draw parallels in this manner and I imagine if you're going that far, you must be getting offended on an hourly basis by even innocuous media. Over 500 members in my g🌌roups since launch and not one active person(I searched 🍷topics/chats to be sure) is seemingly offended by this content.
