Almost all of my games in Switch are digital. I prefer it because it's easier than finding a tiny piece of plastic that is very expensive tchotchke🅘 if lost.

But Nintendo changing its End User agreement and introducing the Game Key system makes me worried about ownership. I do not trust corporatiﷺons. They shut down access to the digital stores for previous𝄹 systems, and they will do it again. Much like media appears and disappears on streaming services, games that we only pay to "license" can be taken away.

I've loved Nintendo, but loyalty is only worth so much. ꦆThe Steam Deck looks increasingly appealing.
