See All“It's A Sad End, But In My Opinion, At Least We Got One”: What Dragon Age Devs And Creators Have Said About The End Of The Series
What was wild to me is there are so many moments that could show depth and growth, while still not shying away from transitioning, but make it a part of the world without forcing it on people. Take Taash's mother for an example. When Taash told her mother she was Nonbinary, her mother had no idea what that meant. In my head, that would normally mean you would explain it. Taash however lashed out at her mother, just saying "I'm Nonbinary, I just said." Her mother, who in their culture was as close to bookish and factual scholar 🦩as you can get to the point of not having actual maternal pursuits. So her only point of reference was what the Qun termed "Aqun athlok", and we've learned this term and meaning from every single game. The definition of this fictional language is, One who is born as one gender but lives like another. And this also, wasn't an insult. It just meant that in the male and female roles in the Qunari, this individual didn't feel comfortable with either. Sex and Role are separate under the Qun, both have masculine and feminine traits and dispositions. So when her mother was trying to understand what her, to her understanding still daughter, was trying to mean she couldn't understand cause Taash was so angry. The fact that you can't get Taash's mother to stay to help better explain it, and you have to support Taash no matter what, is such a waste of an actual character moment it's baffling.
"Vampire Romance Isn't The Same As Human Romance": Vampire: The Masquerade Devs Explains How Relationships Will Work
Was thinking the same thin🎶g. Even if they are basing this game off of V5, Vampires still feel and can just as easily love or hate. If anything they can do it even more since there are ways in the TTRPG that makes you either disinterested or passionate. Guess they just didn't wanna make it a big point, and just a "Congrats, you did it." XD
Dragon Age: The Veilguard's Combat Seems Better Now Companions Can Fall Out With You
I'm not sure how your companions liking or disliking your actions or decisions is "Railroading". Buౠt sure, they can emote or act differently I guess. But the buffs, negatives, and different ways of speech has always been in DA. Just cause they can now "Act out in resentment." Doesn't mean this is new.
