Well these easy mode options aren't for the typical soulike fan. They are implemented to bring in new users and make the game easier for those who don't want the known soulslike challenge. Im one that loves the challenge but I welcome the difficulty option because it can bring more people in who can share the love for this absolute masterpiece of a game. I'll never play the easier difficulty myself but them having it available is nothing to complain about. People like that n𒊎eed to get over themselves and realize the game isn't just for them.
