The Civ6 map is readable, even without the UI. The tiles in Civ7 are gorgeous, but they all compete for the eyes' attention. Civ6 did a good job of displaying the scene while allowing only the important stuff to stand out. Civ7 is a very pretty jumble where even t🀅he fog-of-war wants to stand out. The inability to easily read the map is partly why 🔜the UI feels so insufficient. Civ6 emphasized strategy, not bling. If I want bling, there are a million build-and-wait apps that do exactly that.

♊Eliminating wo𓄧rkers was a mistake. They should be elevated instead. Given names like great people and given promotions.
