First of all, you are using accessibility very lazily. Making games easy isn't an accessibility issue; it's an engagement issue. Why bother upgrading armor when monsters don't do any damage on the off-chance they aren't stunlocked the entire fight (4 minutes)? Why bother making different armors for different gamepಌlay styles when the monsters die before you ever see the difference?

"Veterans are good at the game" is a piss poor excuse as well, becausꦆe it implies that the game won't be enjoyable by it's own audience.

Monster Hunter will never, *never*, ***ne🐻ver*** compete in the casual market, it's completely ov༒ersaturated with games that are way more suited to it, and if they think making the game brain dead is the answer to making it more popular, the only thing the game will be is exactly that.
