Must be out of your mind, if you forced yourself thru all the other ff titles just give up after a few hours, clearly unqualified to have that kind of opinion of "modern standards" when the later chapters c𒊎lear even the movies that get released today.

Wonderful take. Truly the one of the heights of the franchise when truly given a chance. Nothing has held up more than some of the most beautiful animations and absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack. It certainly had to resonate to a lot of us to spawn 2 sequels and lightning is undeniably a peak video game character. In trying to create a new type of experience that may be divisive gameplaywise it fostered some of the most creative type of story telling that just unfortunately required more literature and brainpower than most people wanted to give it. It still deserves a🐬ll the praise and acclaim and support for a remaster/rema🌳ke.
