I love Starfield it has become my favorite BGS game and I started with Morrowind twenty years ago but I am a fan of both BGS and science fiction. The way I see it hatred for Starfield is way overblown as is the nostalgic love fest for Skyrim because it was not universally loved at the time it released that is rose colored glasses view of history. Skyrim is not a bad game but I can remember around the time it released there were corners of the internet hating on it for not being exactly the same as Oblivion and previous to that those same corners of the internet hating on Oblivion for not being exactly the same as Morrowind. Fallout 3 got hit with hate at the time for being made by BGS not the original creators of Fallout. Bethesda has always caught hate from the usual suspects with each game released this is nothing new but social media today has made these negative voices stronger a🌌nd empowered them with too much influence. When TES 6 finally releases it is going to be hated too by these same people no matter what BGS does that is fact.
