Is no one going to mention the weekly-monthly discounts on ames thatജ come with gamepass? I own the majority of major titles, and popular titles thanks to gamepass. They still get a profit with the subscription. I own every AC game, Borderlands games, some COD, Hogwarts, etc. Then, there's free content for games o🤡ften (not always good granted) but free is free. Sometimes free TV shows or movies. Free game content gets you to try new things aswell. I definitely think they are on the right track. The hate is more of a player error and preference that makes people prefer PS. PC is king since it's the best of both worlds with customization and easy access to Mods. PS is gatekeeping and is, in my opinion, the one who is struggling. Eventually they will run out of exclusive, old games to continue on with and will actually have to keep up with xbox in experiments with new games. I like all the systems though and each has their weaknesses. Nintendo is also becoming a major pain with its malfunctioning Switch system and the excessively high prices for games and add-ons
