Firstly, Veilguard didn't sell anywhe൲re close to 1.5 million. EAPlay has has over 13 million su🐲bscribers, so you can guarantee that a significant portion of those 1.5 million that 'engaged' with the game came from EAPlay.

Secondly, the reason Vei🅠lguard failed was clear. The game tried to talk down to its players, preached an opinion that most people simply don't fully agree with, then tried to force the player to accept and agree with that opinion through the players character. The graphics were decent, the gameplay was decent, but the wr🅘iting and distortion of established characters and races was not acceptable. As EA and Bioware found out.

Finally, The ME trilogy is probably my favourite series of all time, Andromeda was ruined by terrible characters, awful writing and boring story. Which was a shame because the gameplay was actually pretty good. I hope EA and Bioware learn from their mistakes, listen to the community, as they are doing now with the next Battlefield game. There's hope, but I'm not holding my breath, especially 🌃if the suits at EA can't keep their noses out.
