Considering Sonic has never canonically seen a female hedgehog before in the movie canon, I actually kinda expect for him to fall for Amy i🦄n Movie 4. Not a Sonamy shipper, but for the 3rd act of the movie, I can also definitely see Amy getting kidnapped by Metal Sonic like in Sonic CD, with Sonic saving her from possible death, which ends up causing her to fall for him back.
