As the very last birth year of being an Xer which technically makes me a "cusper" an outcast of 2 generations if you will, I'm not sure you should speaking for an entire swath of a generation or those who came after, considering we famously dropped the ball in adulthood by basically embracing the failures of those that came before us. For all our Rage Against the Machine, it turned to Embrace of the Machine. Physical and digital must find a way to coexist and for me they do. There are games 💃where I definitely want to own the physical copy others I'm very happy to own at a discounted digital price. I'm inclined to let it play out and see how it works out for Nintendo and other Developers. Now, will the game key cards eventually get those sale and deal prices on Nintendo as a full on digital download would only time will tell. 3rd party games like Mortal Kombat drops prices eventually, usually, so maybe. but, What we can fully expect is that all in house Nintendo games will stay full price no matter how long they have been on the shelves or in the digital marketplace. Barring that one time Mario titles went on sale for a limited time celebration a few years ago. So I fully expect I'll have to shell out 80 for a Nintendo title 3-10 years after its relea🔯se. That's what's bonkers.

Trophies and achievements? on Nintendo? is that a thing? Never seen any messages like that pop up on switch and because I have never given any of my Nintendo gamer friends wedgies like I do the others for going on and on about useless Xbox/PS trophies and achievements that literally give you nothing and mean nothing other than to be an annoying dork that won't shut up about the fake 🔴thing they did in the pretend world that some programmer assigned for them to do. im more impressed when they pay their bills and show up for work.

Maybe take that "almost 20" energy and direct it at something that matters like having your life run by elected officials that almost exclusively are all over the age of 65 and some at the ages of sharp co🌃gnitive decline and that's not even the wor꧟st problem. you think DreamWorks animators are out of touch Or being offensive to youth culture? No one (the audience) asks for any movie to get made, that's not how the business works. Could you imagine the stress level of the employees who handled audience requests.
