More than anything else, this has annoyed me about Veilguard. I feel like they took a lot of good steps forward in level design, quest design, and the combat꧒.

But they took huge steps back in character interactivity. Some of it is still there but it is delivered through lengthy and locked companion🧸 quests. That's okay for sensitive topics for characters like past trauma or relationships, but you can't even ask them simple que🐽stions about themselves like what their previous jobs were or how they got into their positions.

It's baffling to me. They dropped the ball on that and it would have 🍌made the game a lot better.
