Assassin’s Creed started with the modern day. Th🅷e animus is the reason y📖ou can go back in time to see history. The modern day was the thread holding each game together. Ubisoft needs better writers and direction to carry the narrative of the modern day story, which carries into the purpose of stepping into the animus for each game.
