Doom 2016 was closes💯t to Doom in terms of secrets and studying the ൲map, how you backtrack to find unlocked things in secret rooms. 2016 did make going over the game again more interesting, what with challenges on top. I enjoyed that.

But this to me seems like a generational thing. The mobile phone generation has little patience. Wit𝐆h so much stuff thrown at them, they just want☂ to move on to the next thing when done.

I don't agree when someone says, noone cares. Why would a person choose to speak🥂 for everyone? Another thing annoying abo🐈ut this generation.

The point is, if you have to waste a lot of time finding things, because they are actually required to help aid in game completion, this is one thing. If most things are just a nice bonus and a𓃲dd cosmetic or superfluous additions, then w✱ho cares? Take it or leave it. More is good for those that want it.

Or local co-op may be the better term. You can play games remote-play (or 🎀equivalent) these days via online connection. You'll still be tied to the same screen space, but you don't have to sit next to each other.

Back when I was young, passing the c😼ontroller about the room, with competitive play (wiꦏnner stays on) was the norm.
