How to put this delicately?

Bioware is the last company that can be accused of being "woke" in modern times - since DA:O, they have presented players with a decent variety of romance options. As for the females being "ugly" (and that one guy ranting about Neve's missing leg), I will admit that Neve is not the most attractive companion, but she has her charms, (๊which includes the missing leg, by the way. How did that happen?) And Morrigan "being ugly" and "wearing more clothes"? Is she supposed to wear less now? She's a mother and a much older wom🔜an now, what do people expect? And she still looks great.

I will admit though, that I see where these people are coming from. A lot of games nowadays do try to insert politics where none had been before, to the point where the kneej🐼erk reactioཧn is to call anything with such elements woke. However, when it comes to Dragon Age I'm far more concerned about the story and gameplay than anything else at this point. It's more likely that these people have never played any of the games and have no idea that things have always been this way since the beginning.
