I feel similarly about Heavy Rain, but in all honesty the flaws with Heavy Rain are continued in Beyond Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human. There's no sugarcoating it, David Cage's games are pr🍎etentious and their ability to mask underlying flaws while quite commendable, just go to show how hollow they are. You can't take these games seriously, even despite how seriously they come across in terms of themes and subject matter.

Detroit Become Human may as well be called 'Androids Have Souls' or something as honest 🅷and upfront as that because they are otherwise vacuous. I did like Hank and Connor's segments🐠 enough, but otherwise the dialogue is really dire and cringe-worthy.
