But sure, let's just assume for the sake of argument that could be magically possible somehow. So, what would they blame the price hike on if they were made in the US? Well, that should be pretty obvious. Your average Chinese worker in a Foxconn factory makes less than 3 bucks an hour. American factory workers will cost at least 5 to 10 times that rate. Ergo, much much higher manufacturing costs, leading to much higher retail prices.

People seem to have this fantasy that we can build everything in the US, pay US workers more to buil𝔍d all these goods domestically, and yet somehow simultaneously sell these goods to ourselves for lower prices. 🧜You can't have it both ways. Either you pay domestic workers to more to build things here, or you import them for cheaper. Pick one or the other.

No, this is not just about "Microsoft greed." This is going to affect every type of consumer good.
