No, Dragon Age: The Veilguard Wasn't Snubbed For Game Of The Year
I agree, Veilguard was an... alright game, in﷽ the end. The enviroments looked stunning, the comic-y artstyle was not my cup of tea personally, ജbut also not horrible.
Fiꦡ❀ghting was fun for the most part. Liked the music.
Still, in regard to narrative und story every nominated game suprassed Veilguard. The writing just wasn't good, and after I've finished about half the game I kind of started dreading the conversations with the companions. So much senseless, unimportant blabbering that felt weird somehow, out of place. Sometimes it just didn't make any sense. No real possibility for roleplay, sadly... I started to dislike my own character and there was no real option to play them difಌferently.
I don't exactly regret playing it for the aformentioned reasons, but the story was just not good, even if you don't compare it to the other Dragoಌn Age games.
Still, don't agree thatꦰ the artstyle is bad - the game IS very beautiful.
