I haven't actually finished the first su🍸bnautica but I tend to go back to it every now and again and do another chunk of it and the lack of weapons is what makes it fun, it's not an FPS, it's not a stealth game and it rigidly sticks to it's survival core. The fact that I haven't finished it doesn't say it's a bad game it just tells you that I consider it a more laid back experience that I can eas⛦ily dip in and out of without worrying about hardcore narrative beats to weigh it down. Maybe I'm playing it wrong but the dev responses seem like it's an acceptable way to enjoy it.

Ultima is a huge series. There are 9 mainlin🍰e games and maybe 10 spin offs of varying quality plus it's had a go at a MMORPG but I'm not sure if that's still going in one form of another but the series definitely has a fanbase
