Society Has𝕴 Moved Beyond The Need For A KOTOR Remake
This. New en💮gine, update graphics, animations, QoL, leave the rest the same.♓
While they are at it, finish the second game. KoTOR 2 had potential to be a legen🍃dary powerhouse RPG with some of the heavier themes it leveled, but the entire back third of the game is an unfinished iওncoherent buggy mess, missing tons of dialogue and entire scenes and it's heartbreaking.
Will The Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel Finally Understand 📖The Cyberpun🔯k Genre?
Di🉐d you𒁃...what? Play 2 minutes of it and give up because it was too hard for you?
did we even play the same game?
"Cyberpunk" is the title. It was based of the tabletop of the semi-similiar name from the 80s. In that it's virtually a direct adaptation and covers a healthy chunk of 🧔the lore and setting quite wel🌱l.
What alﷺl was missing for you to make t𒁃his "punk"? You asked why technology and wealth was concentrated in the hands of the rich and not the poor and why wasn't it addressed?
Isn't that whats happening to us now? Cyberpunk is about capitalistic excess, an exaggerated satire of the world we already 🐠live in and are steering towards.
The game covers the destruc💮tion of the net, the consolidation of corporate power into data fortresses, Night City's corporate and political corruption, the excesses and dehumanization brought about by rampant distribution of cyberware and technology, the inefficiencies, corruption, and abuse by law enforcement, the dan🍷gers of the net and what lies beyond the "Blackwall" and the looming threat of rogue AI.
The game most definitely covers ♔the punk aspect in Johnnie's diatribe of the corporate beast and the corrupt government, his conflicts with V and his idealistic if semi-optimistic nihilism.
The homeless are🅠 well covered, they are all over the city, predominately on the outskirts, Pa📖cifica, and Dogtown and in every alley and dark corner. They're so prevalent you stop noticing them, which is the point. Did you want more Garys raving about Alpha Centauri, or the eerie "Legionnaires" that occasionally approach you on the street?
Don't know where you were going with the "transphobic" marketing 🐎but suggest you quit while you're ahead.
I get the distinct♐ impression you were either paid to write a slam piece or stumbled on one little thing you didn't like and went full Karen.
Highly encourage you to go back and play the game again, and this time try to make it more than 28 seconds before giving up in frustr☂ation.
