As someone who started on Skyrim then played oblivion and Morrowind with the game pass(I objectively did not have time for Morrowind between school and chores and self care it wasn't worth keeping up a playthrough especially with the combat and graphic limitations). Between my experiences with the 3 games oblivion(even tho it's a hard thing to say cause I love Skyrim as it introduced me to TES)is the better game. They took out some of the clunky mechanics from Morrowind or made them better and improved. On top of that Skyrim removed a lot of my favorite mechanics about oblivion or complicated them and made them more complex. With the remaster just about everything that wasn't a quest or map bug was fixed or improved. With the addition of new things like character origins. So yes imo until Skyrim is remastered or TES 6 is released oblivion remaster has done it better by far. My 2 problems are it lacks duel wielding and I can't be a werewolf. Literally the only downsides I feel are worth being mad about (for anyone who read the last 2 or three sentences ꦬwhat'd you expect I started on Skyrim).

No offense to your article cause I know that a few of these spells are really good especially if your like a knight-mage but honestly I ဣfeel like unless it's a conjuration spell every other spell in every school but conjuration sucks. I can make better destruction and restoration spells than I can find or buy. Highest Magicka reinforcement I found was 30-35 I made a spell called Overdrive that increase my Magicka by a flat 100 and made a spell called Faith the heals 100 HP for barely 25% of my Magicka 🎃bar and that's if I use Faith before I cast Overdrive

I mean I can do this in oblivion with enchanting cause when it comes down to it the best weapons in the game are either gonna be a loot item from a quest so not made by you. Or it will be some type of daedric weapon that you want to craft but also find it on bodies for loot pretty often then you just 🗹e🐟nchant it.

Man I was born on 2005 so I grew up with Skyrim instead of oblivion. Well 2 or 3 years ago I had an Xbox (rn I have a PS5) and I seen oblivion on game pass. Even tho I had been playing Skyrim since I was little I wanted to give it a shot. So I started got to the ruins outside the sewers and took a break after quick saving. My Xbox broke the next day and ps plus over charges premium imo so I never got to play it again. I've been playing since a day or two after release and I have to say it didn't take me long to realize sanguine rose was bad even♈ tho I thought it would be a good weapon for my conjuration build😭. I realized the other day that I would have waited to do the campaign and game martin the staff 💎cause coming across soul gems is a pain so I usually have to pay to recharge my weapons.
