I think you missed the point of the article. No one said, "don't play this stuff ever", but also don't lie about it either and act like you aren't bringing power to the board. Playing level 8 decks is fi𓄧ne if you are honest to▨ let other people bring comperable decks as well, but low balling your deck's power and curb stomping the play group because they played weaker decks (on purpose because of what you told them your deck was) is just plain dishonest and gets you kicked out of most groups. It's all about having fun, so why lie about what your deck does?
