Why Dragon Age: The Veilguard Uses The Term 'Non-Binary'
Krem is trans, He uses a fictional word because it fits more with the world built in Dragon Age, but he is still a trans person. There is nothing cowardly in that character because he is included and what is better is given a much greater meaning in his own world than Taash, who feels forced and every dialogue where they put the word "non-binary" feels completely out of place and artificial. That not everything in the video game revolves around Krem's identity does not mean that it is an act of cowardice to include it with a different word than the one we know and use today, in the year 2024, on planet Earth and more than anything in Western society. Not recognizing Krem as a trans person is more damaging than criticizing the inclusion of the word non-binary in Veilguard
