The t♌hing is, going public is a choice that a company makes. Don't blame shareholders when a company chose to sell part of itself to the public -- and don't forget a company doing well can buy those shared back.

I don't understand why games industry journalism hasn't fig🍸ured out it is an *industry* -- project layoffs will be a reality unless/until a🍷 company gets proficient at staggering production cycles in ways that keep everyone productively, profitably busy all the time.

Look to other entertainment industries -- movies, theatre, concerts, etc -- all have💜 completely normalized waves of layoffs and hirings.

Don't enter the video ဣgames industry unless you can accept that professional reality!
