It has nothing to do with difficulty.Simply it's not a live service game or cod and we have very good gameꦯs this year to choose from. I put 230 hours in and i could put more but i just jumped to another good game and then another.

Maybe because expedition 33 and oblivion came out and🎉 people are still playing monster hunter and kingdom come as well so we have good games this year so maybe it was a bad timing.
