Imag🍌ine it's not Max and Chloe, but you and your own best friend in the same predicament. Would you sacrifice your own best friend? Not Chloe, someone YOU care about. If so, do you realize that makes you a bad person? And a Thanos wannabe to boot.

At this point the word "toxic" has lost all its meaning. Chloe saved Max's life in the parking lot. She immediately forgave Max (even if Max told her to "give her a break, because she was going thorugh changes, like Chloe" - because we know moving is comparable to losing a parent). She gave Max her prized heirloom - her father's camera. She pushed Nathan away in the dorms when he came at Max, even though Nathan was armed and had threatened to murder Chloe just days prior. She saved Max's life when Frank lunged at her with a kni🗹fe at the beach. She dragged unconscious Max all the way from the beach to the cliff, saving her life again.💜 She proposed to be sacrificed, just to spare Max from feeling guilty. She gave Max so much good advice on how to conquer her fear and gain confidence. Would you step between your friend and an armed thug? Would you drag your friend to safety during a tornado, endangering yourself? Would you offer to die just to spare your friend from feeling guilty? We both know for a fact you wouldn't risk your life for a friend. You wouldn't offer to die for a friend. So Chloe is a better friend than you'll ever be.

Okay. Let's recap the five days Max spent with Chloe in October of 2013. She saved Max's life when Frank lunged at her with a knife at the beach. She dragged unconscious Max all the way from the beach to the cliff, saving her life again. She proposed to be sacrificed, just to spare Max from feeling guilty. She g🐠ave Max so much good advice on how to conquer her fear and gain confidence. Would you step between your friend and an armed thug? Would you drag your friend to safety during a tornado, endangering yourself? Would you offer to die just to spare your friend from feeling guilty? I get it. You write clickbait. I commented, so you certainly got me. But at least put in some effort. At this point your piece boils down to "the girl who saved Max's life on multiple occasions, loved her unconditionally (Chloe's last words in either timeline are that she loves Max) and possibly died just to spare Max from her guilt is actually an evil b-word because she may have said something mean at one point, depending on player choices". We both know for a fact you wouldn't risk your life for a friend. You wouldn't offer to die for a friend. So Chloe is a better friend than you'll ever be. And for a queer writer you're really keen on regurgitating sexist tropes about mean, uppity b-words who deserve to die just for voicing their feelings. I guess a good woman should just sufꩵfer in silence, eh?
