At the forefront of it all, though, are Ultimate Attacks - powerful, cinematic attacks unleashed when your characters have worked hard in battle and earned their moment in the spotlight. But how do you trigger Ultimate Attacks, and more importantly, how do you ear꧃n enough points to🅺 see one of these legendary moves in action?

What Are Decibels?

Decibels are the numerical system with which Ultimate Attack charge is calculated. Essentially, whenever you enter combat, your Decibel rating will be displayed at the top-left of the screen, and it will update to show you how many Decibels you have earned.

How To Earn Decibels

Decibels can be earned by completing combat actions while in combat. These combat actions include:

• Basic Attack
• Special Attack
• EX Special Attack
• Attribute Anomaly
• Perfect Counter
• Perfect Dodge
• Assist
• Assist Follow-Up
• Chain x1 / x2 / x3
• Stun
• Impair

While you are earning Decibels, the Decibel🗹 rating🌌 will display what action you are taking that is increasing your Decibel rating.

What Are The Stages Of Gaining Decibels?

The three stages of gaining Decibels are Uproar, Blasting and Maximum, each one denoting the percentage of progress towards being able to Ultimate Attack.

Uproar is active once you have earned 1,000 Decibels, meaning you are one-third of the way towards your Ultimate. Blasting is active once you have earned 2,000 Decibels, meaning you are two-thirds of the way towards your 🤡Ul﷽timate.

Finally, Maximum means you have earned 3,000 Decibels and can use your Ultimate attack.

You cannot ever earn more than 3,000 Decibels, so don't take✱ too long to spend 🧜them once you've earned them!

How To Spend Decibels

Decibels can only be spent when you have 3,000 of them. You can spend 3,000 Decibels to activate a character's Ultimate Attack. The Decibels are a pool of points for Ultimate Attacks, so only one character can use their Ultimate per 3,000 Decibels. Choose your Ultimate attacker carefully!

While Decibels are tied to the group, En🔥ergy is tied to each individual character.
