Fusion monsters have been around ever since the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG booster pack, Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon🔯, was released back in 2002. Since then, there have been an abundant amount of fusion monsters creating all kinds of different combi🦄nations, with some monsters finally getting the ability to fuse together long after they had been introduced.

But despite just how many different fusion monsters there are now, there are still many monsters that don't combine that still should, including monsters belonging to the same archetype as well as monsters longtime fans have expected to see combine for almost two decades.

Update on March 27, 2023, by Erroll Maas: Although new Yu-Gi-Oh! cards frequently release, including some Fusion Monsters, there are many monsters that still don't combine. This happens even if they have similarities, are related in some way, or are even considered to be part of the same archetype. Because of this, there are many older monsters that have yet to see a Fusion Monster that they're required Fusion Material for, and even though Fusion Monsters aren't as new as the other kinds of Extra Deck Monsters, many seemingly related monsters don't have those either, so they might as well start with the oldest first.

15 Kuriboh And Wretch🅺ed Ghost of the Attic

Although Kuriboh is a well-known card that has expanded into a larger archetype over the years, there are still no Kuriboh Fusion Monsters, even though the anime versions of Kuribabylon and Kuribandit seemed to requir♎e other members of the archetype to be summoned.

The Normal Monster counterpart of Kuriboh, Wretched Ghost of the Attic, has also been left behind, not even having bottom text to have it "always treated as a Kuriboh card," although it is considered an archetype member. Maybe a Kuriboh Fusion Monster could reference when Yugi 🍒used the card Multiply in the anime, being named "Infinite Kuriboh" or something similar.

14 Kon🍎ami Arcade Game🥂s

Mostly Machine-type monsters, the Konami Arcade Games card series features cards referencing many of Konami's older arcade game series, such as Gradius and Parodius. Although the first card in the series, the Light attribute Machine-type Normal Monster Gradius, was introduced in the 2002 Pharaohs' Servant booster pack, even with the series expanding over time, no Fusion Monsters are included.

There are many ♔different ways a Fusion Monster from the Konami Arcade Games card series could come about, such as Gradius combining with other spaceship cards or non-Machine-type monsters like Trigon, Brain Golem, and Gaia Soul combining to makꦓe a terrifyingly awesome space monster.

13 The Original Spirit Monsters ☂

The original Spirit cards were a series of Effect Monsters based on Japanese mythological figures and unique in their time due to having to return to the owner's hand at the end of the turn they were summoned. The most infamous member of this group is Yata-Garasu, a monster rumored to be the origin of the Forbidden list due to its effect.

Spirit monsters have been included in later archetypes, but adding some Fusion Monster members to the original group could help them see some usꦆe in modern play. Maybe the strongest monsters of the original group, Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi and Yamata Dragon, could combine to become the most powerful Spirit monster in Yu-Gi-Oh! history.

12 Tiger Axe And P🍬anther Warrior

Both feline-based Beast-Warrior-type monsters used by Joey Wheeler in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and Duel Monsters anime adaptation, it's surprising that the Normal Monster Tiger Axe and the Effect Monster Panther Warrior don't have a Fusion Monster that combines them.

Since Tiger Axe is a Normal Monster and Panther Warrior's effect makes it require a tribute to attack, maybe a Fusion of both monsters could require a tribute not to attack but to increase its Attack Points by 400, referencing the 200 boost that Sogen gave Tiger Axe in the anime but adding another 200 due to it being a Fusion of two Beast-Warrior-type monsters.

11 Magician Girls And Marshmallon ဣ

While Dark Magician Girl and Marshmallon were introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime series, the similar Marshmacaron and the larger Magician Girl archetype debuted in the 2017 Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions movie. Because the Magician Girl archetype rela🔯tes to food with Berry, Le🌊mon, Apple, Chocolate, and Kiwi Magician Girls, it would make sense for them to fuse with Marshmallon and Marshmacaron.

Both the Magician Girl cards and Marshmallon react to being attacked by the opponent's monsters, so that similarity makes them even more compatible Fusion Material. These monsters could combine into Magicians representing different flavored treats, and maybe they could have a new ultimate monster called "S'mores Magician."

10 Penguins

yugioh penguin archetype

The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Frog archetype has their own fusion, so it's about time Penguins got their chance to combine. Penguins did not officially start becoming an archetype until 2011 with the Generation Force booster pack, but the first Penguin cards introduced to the TCG were Penguin Knight and Penguin Soldier, whose effects laid the groundwork for the playstyle of the archetype.

A Pengꩲuin fusion could be a nod to the early start of the archetype by combining Penguin Knight and Pen🐭guin Soldier into a Penguin General, although similar to D.3.S. Frog it could be a fusion of any two Penguin monsters.

9 Kaiju

yugioh kaiju archetype featuring radian and gamaciel

While the Kaiju arc🍌hetype is mostly based on monsters from the Godzilla and Gamera films, Radian the Multidimensional Kaiju is based on Dark Lugiel from the Ultraman Ginga series. Many different Ultra series feature kaiju combining, so a Kaiju fusion would likely be a nod to that and specifically use Radian as one of the fusion material monsters, with the other being any other member of the archetype.

Since Kaiju decks focus on special summoning monsters and giving control of some of them to the opponent, Kaiju could have their own signature fusion spell card based on the devices used to combi🗹ne kaiju in various Ultra series.

8 Goblins

Yugioh Goblin Archetype with Goblin Attack Force & Goblin Black Ops

Although Goblin Attack Force was first released in the 2002 Pharaoh's Servant booster pack, the Goblin archetype didn't start getting any real support until the New Challengers booster pack was released in 2014. Before that, most Goblin cards were unrelated besides being based on the same creatures.

Like Goblin Attack Force, a handful of members of the Goblin archetype aren't single individual monsters, but instead groups of them. A fusion could continue this trend by being an even larger group of Goblins becoming a Goblin Army or Goblin Legion, which could be a mixture of all the previously introduced groups of the archetype.

7 💧 Wight Archetype ꦐ

Yugioh wight archetype and skull servant

Skull Servant was known as one of the weakest monsters in the TCG until the Wight archetypeဣ was introduced, starting with the Light of Destruction booster pack in 2008. Since several Wight cards are royalty or related to royalty in some way, with the King of Skull 🐈Servants being the most powerful, a potential fusion could continue that trend.

An Emperor Of Skull Servants could boost this archetype by increasing the attack and defense of all members on the field and could make them return from the dead any time they're destroyed.

6 🌱 Blue Flame Swordsman And Dark 🍸Magician

Blue Flame Swordsman & Dark magician

While the Dark Flare Knight, a fusion of the regular Flame Swordsman and the Dark Magicia✱n, does already exist, a type of monster card known as "" has appeared more frequently over time. The Blue Flame Swordsman, the retrained effect monster counterpart of the classic fusion monster, is both stronger and easier to summon when compared to its prꦐedecessor.

A Blue Dark Flare Knight could not only keep the effects of the original but also add on an attack-boosting𒆙 effect similar to that of♕ Blue Flame Swordsman, making it a great addition to any pure Warrior or mixed Warrior and Spellcaster deck.
