No matter which era of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yu-Gi-Oh! you're looking at, you're bound to find expensive and valuable cards. In the present day, you have stuff like starlight rares and Ten Thousand Dragon, but there's just something else about those OG cards.

🉐 Yu-Gi-Oh!: The 10 Most Valuable C꧋ards Of 2023
Yu-Gi-Oh!'s 25th anniversary gave us all🍸 sorts of🎃 rare and valuable cards.
In terms of collectability, who doesn't want a first-edition Black Luster Soldier, Summoned Skull, or Mirror Force? Many more people want those cards instead of Ten Thousand Dragon, even if the latter is more valuable. Buying a lot of these cards is going to cost a pretty penny, and much more so if it's a perfect 10 grade.
All values are based on first edition market price at the time of writing. A first edition market price for Blue-Eyes White Dragon is unavailable and, as such, won't be included. All cards are from core sets, so nothing from Retro Packs or Gold Series.
10 ♚ Gate Guardian (Secret Rare) - $319.94
A Still Gorgeous Looking Secret
Newcomers might not know this, but secret rares back in the day weren't guaranteed in every box. A secret rare really was secret, and you had a different one depending on whether you were opening a Hobby box or a Retail box. A Retail box of Metal Raiders contained Thousand Dragon, which is nice, but nothing compared to the Hobby box's Gate Guardian.
An awesome-looking card, Gate Guardian is a combination of Sanga, Kazejin, and Suijin. It's incredibly hard to summon but has iconic value since it was used by the Paradox Brothers in both the original anime and GX. This makes the card one of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:most valuable in the set.
9 ✱ ♔ Solemn Judgment (Ultra Rare) - $349.96
No!
Surprisingly, the most valuable trap card in Metal Raiders isn't the legendary Mirror Force. Instead, that card is Solemn Judgment. One of the few cards from Metal Raiders still used today, Solemn Judgment can be described in one word: no.
You can negate practically anything, and the cost of half your LP doesn't matter. In Yu-Gi-Oh!, LP only matters when it ends the duel. The card's been competitive ever since it came out and was banned for a period of time. Solemn Judgment's importance to the game cannot be understated, and this is likely why it's so valuable.
8 Deck Devastation Virus (Ultimate Rare) - $369.ﷺ87
The Ultimate Burn
Near the end of the Duel Monsters era, sets stopped putting in secrets and instead included ultimate rares. These are nasty for collectors, especially when you get into the GX era. For the first time, cards got more than one rarity in the same set, making it a lot harder to pull the ultimate you're looking for.
In Flaming Eternity, the holy grail ultimate is Deck Devastation Virus. A decent side deck option today, Deck Devastation Virus is one of the better Virus cards and looks sick in ultimate rare form. It's understandably expensive because of that, but frankly, these high prices are what's expected from first edition ultimates.
7 Exodia The F𝓀orbidden One (Ultra Ra🎀re) - $379.99
Obliterate!
Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon has four big ultra rares you're looking for. Since you only get two ultras in a box, your luck isn't good. While all the Exodia limbs are ultras themselves, you want the important piece, the head. Exodia's iconic level is so high in Yu-Gi-Oh! that it transcends into the overall world of card games.

Yu-♊Gi-Oh!: 💮The 8 Most Valuable Cards In Valiant Smashers
Centur-Ion's take centre stage in this⭕ smashing booster box for t💟he Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG.
Collecting several cards to win is what's known as an Exodia effect. The summoning of Exodia is an all-time great moment from not only the anime but also the manga. After going through all five stages of Death-T, in what's a life and death scenario, Yugi drawing that Exodia head was so hype. It's a no-brainer why this card's so expensive.
6 🌳 Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon (Secret Rare) - $399.99
Pegasus's Most Valuable Card
Magic/Spell Ruler was a fantastic set filled with a mind-blowing amount of banned or once-banned cards. It also had plenty of Pegasus cards, and inside that batch is where 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the biggest treasure of the set lies. That card is Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon.
It's a secret rare and only found in a 24-pack Hobby box. Avoid a 36-pack Retail box at all costs, as Serpent Night Dragon is peanuts compared to this card. Blue-Eyes Toon still looks gorgeous, and with its iconic level, it's understandable why it's so expensive.
5 Dark Magician (Ultra Rare) - $400 ♏
Dark Magic Attack!
Another big hit from Legend of Blue-Eyes is Yugi's ace monster, Dark Magician. A card that's still used today, although more for using it as material, Dark Magician is one of the most iconic monsters in all of Yu-Gi-Oh!
The amount of support for Dark Magician is massive and a volume few other decks can beat. The artwork here isn't the anime one, but it still looks great and retro. One of the first Yu-Gi-Oh! cards you think of has to be Dark Magician, and along with the rarity of 1st edition Legend of Blue-Eyes, is what makes the card so pricey.
4 Red-Eyes B. Dragon (ꩵUltra Rare) - $404.98 🉐
Inferno Fire Blast!
No, that isn't a typo; Red-Eyes Black Dragon was spelled as Red-Eyes B. Dragon when Legend of Blue-Eyes first came out. This was a cost-cutting measure, but thankfully, the full name was included later on. Joey's ace monster from the anime, Red-Eyes, is also iconic, but not on the same level as Blue-Eyes, Dark Magician, or Exodia.
The Legend of Blue-Eyes version contains the anime artwork, however, which might be why it's more expensive than the rest. A first edition Legend of Blue-Eyes box is the rarest Duel Monsters core set you can find, so all these big hitters are bound to be super expensive. Their value ranking will likely shift over time.
3 Horus The Blꦆack Flame Dragon LV8 (Ultimate Rare) - $449.99
The Ultimate Ultimate
Soul of the Duelist was the first set to include ultimate rares, so it's fitting the most expensive one came from it. The card in question is Horus The Black Flame Dragon LV8. Soul of the Duelist experimented with these LV monsters, and while they were competitive duds, their price was a different story.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: Most Valuable Cards From The 25ꦐth Anniversary Rarity Collection
Yu-Gi-Oh! gets slightly prettier with this all-foil 25th Anniversary Rarity Collectionಌ set, featuring new rarities and reprints.
This card has a nasty combination all around th🐠at makes it expensive. The artwork with the ultimate rare looks so sick with the black flame. The ultimate rare itself makes the card really hard to pull and even harder to get perfect 10 grades. Ultimates, at least back then, had various issues, making the grading process harder.
2 Jin✱zo (Secret Rare) - $557.28
Bye, Bye Traps
Pharaoh's Servant had a lot of great cards, but 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in terms of rarity, one trumps all of them: Jinzo. Jinzo is not only iconic but was very competitive back in the day. Traps wꦫere big business during the old-school era, and cards like Mirror Force were actually banned for a time.
With Jinzo, you didn't have to worry about any of that. Plus, it was searchable with Witch of the Black Forest, and you only needed one tribute. What's not to love? Jinzo's design is just as cool today as it was back then, and all these factors make the card worth so much money today.
1 Dark Maಌgician𝕴 Girl (Secret Rare) - $733.99
Debatably The Most Iconic Monster In Yu-Gi-Oh!
If you ask what the most iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! monster is, you'll get one of two responses. It'll either be Blue-Eyes White Dragon or Dark Magician Girl. Those two monsters are on so many pieces of Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise, and for good reason. Dark Magician Girl's popularity is out of this world.
To showcase this, a first edition Magician's Force Hobby box costs a ridiculous amount of money, even though Dark Magician Girl is the only big hit of the set. 1st edition packs can go on sale on Whatnot and sell out like that because everyone wants this juicy card. Not only is the card iconic, but the demand's wild, heightening the price even more.
