In it, Shauna works at a grocery store while Jackie shops. It seems to be imagining the sort of life she might have lived if 𝓡not for the plane crash,🌄 where she and her best friend remain inseparable - though what would have happened if Shauna had had Jeff's baby whle Jackie was still in the picture would have had its own complications. However, the vision tells us something deeper, too.
What Does Shauna's Vision Mean?
While scanning groceries, we see human flesh wrapped up like meat, an obvious allusion to🌱 the cannibalism the girls undertake to survive. But alongside the meat is a sachet of🐼 hot cocoa - the same thing Jackie drinks in her final hallucination before her death, warm in the cabin with all of her friends and the already deceased Laura Lee. Some fans suspect it might be hinting that Shauna is the next one to die.
It could also mean that Jackie's dream as shared with Shauna, as it is Shauna we see bolt awake after it. However, this is not the first time a vision of Jackie has hinted at this. When she'ဣs trapped in the freezer, Jackie tells her "we'll be warm soon", which some took to mean as Shauna joining Jackie in the afterlife.
We know visions are of vital importance in Yellowjackets. When Lottie is baptised, she sees Laura Lee (who♐ later dies in a fiery exploﷺsion) surrounded by ash. She also sees herself ascending a narrow staircase, which is very similar to the one she died at the bottom of.

There have also been several important instances of bear🐻s featuring in prophesies - it's Laura Lee's bear that bursts into flames, it's a bear that Lottie kills to feed them through winter, and it's a bear Akilah sees wandering aimlessly into camp while in the cave. Now we know the team go on to capture a hiker named Kodiak - a type of bear.
We'll need to see where 𝔍all that leads us, what becomes of Shauna, and who ends up being Pit Girl (please please please 𝓡not Mari), but with just two episodes left this season, there's still a lot for the show to resolve.
