Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is a massive game in basically every regard. The world is literally massไive, the cast of characters is large, and the number of systems at play all at once is simply mind-boggling. There are a lot of items too, and many of them acquired in very different ways, be it enemy drops or mining.

Once you reach the endgame, Bonjelium is an item you will become intimately acquainted with. Or well, you would like to i๊f not for the fact it's so hard to come by. Not only is it a slow process to acquire Bonjelium, it requires braving some of the harshest areas in the game to get. Now here's where to get it, and what it's u⛦sed for.

What Is Bonjelium Used For?

As you gain new equipment drops from enemies in the game, you will come to realise that it is hard to rely on just random drops to get the setup you need to take on the game's strongest enemies. This is where Augments come into play, allowing you to slot 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:new Battle Traits into empty slots on your equipment. These Augments aren't free, though.

If you're really attached to a specific piece of gear, you can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:upgrade it at L's Shop to add more Augment Slots.

Outside of a few that drop from special enemies and treasure points, the rest must be crafted with the Arms Manufacturers back in NLA. And they can be quite expensive. Bonjelium is typically used for the highest ranking of many Augments, such as the XX versions. Most of the Augments that do use Bonjelium take about eight Bonjelium each, so 🦩it racks up pretty quickly.

Thankfully, if you do end up making an Augment you don't like, you can just dismantle it to get all of the materials used to make it back, Bonjelium included.

Where To Find Bonjelium

Bonjelium is known as a Precious Resource in-game, which means it is mined from FrontierNav Sites. In the case of Bonjelium, it is found exclusively in Cauldros. So unless you go out of your 💝way ꦑto explore the region, you won't be able to start gathering up Bonjelium until later in the game.

Here are the exact 🃏FN Sites that Bonjelium can be mi𝔍ned:

• FN Site 502.
• FN Site 504
• FN Site 506
• FN Site 507
• FN Site 510
• FN Site 511

Every FrontierNav site is numbered even before you're planted a probe, so you can seek out these specific sites so you can spend as li🦄tt🦩le time as possible in Cauldros itself.

Once you place a Data Probe in these sites, you must now place a Mining Probe to get the Mineable Resources. Some of these sites will only have Bonjelium, while others will have multiple resources. As long as you have a Mining Probe placed, you are guaranteed to get at least one of every resource present every time the counter ticks over. There isn't an exact science to this, but it seems to be approximately every 30 minutes.

A rather cruel part of the game's design is that you cannot be passive during this time. You need to actually be moving. Time spent standing still or𓃲 navigating menus freezes the🎉 counter. So if you want that Bonjelium to start counting up, you need to actually move around. Which is why it's best to get started on your Bonjelium mining as soon as you can.

Can You Boost The Amount Of Bonjelium You Get?

With eight Bonjelium needed to make a single Augment and only six potential sites it can be mined from, you are potentially waiting hours just to make a few Augments for a single character, and that can get boring, fast. So what if you could b𓆏oost the amount of Bonjelium you were getting each time the counter ticks?

While there is no method of speeding up the counter itself, you can get yourself more Bonjelium each time it does count over. Just as high-rank Mining Probes produce more Miranium, the same is true for Mineable Resources. A Rank X Mining Probe will bring in more Bonjelium each tick than a Rank I probe would.

Even more, a chain of Mining Probes will boost the amount of Bonjelium you acquire even more. These effects stack, giving you dramatically more Bonjelium. That said, since Bonjelium is only acquired from specific sites rather than along the whole chain, it's better to prioritise a single high-rank Mining Probe ꦯover a chain of low-rank ones.

While it's not certain that Boosters and Duplicators increase the Mineable Resources you acquire,⛄ like Bon💃jelium, it's worth doing anyway for the increased Miranium anyway.

You can also acquire Bonjelium from one non-FN Site source, and that is an Online Mission called The Hidden Conductors. This, in turn, is unlocked by completing the prior Online Mission, Air Supremacy and examining the Wrecked Car in it. This mission itself is then unlocked by defeating 36 Zig enemies, which itself is a randomly given task when you join a Squad. So it's not 𒊎really something you should be aiming to find.
