We hope you have a lot of time on your hands, because unlocking the Highwaymen won't be a quick endeavor. You will be required to earn 700,000 experience points in order to play as them. The easiest way to get experience points in XDefiant is simply playing the game. You'll be awarded 5,000 XP for completing a match, and a bonus 1,000 if you win. There are also daily challenges that offer payouts as high as 10,000 experience, so it's recommended that you prioritize them if you're loo♒king to make quicꦅk progress toward character unlocks.
You get XP for completing in-game feats as well, like headshots or capturing the objective. The Season 2 update changes the HUD to better inform you of how much experience you're earning, with pop-ups appearing after kills, healing, and more.
If you wish to start playing as the Highwaymen immediately, Ubisoft will let you spend real money to skip the grind. Using 1,000 XCoins will get you a single character, and 2,500 will buy you all three.
