Most of Cartethyia's damage comes from her basic attacks in both her Cartethyia and Fleurdelys forms. However, reading through her kit can make it seem quite complicated. In reality🀅, her kit is fairly simple and here is a better explanation of all the important parts:

Cartethyia's Kit, Explained

• Cartethyia can get the Sword of Divinity, Discord, and Virtue by performing her fourth basic attack, heavy attack or intro skill, and Resonance Skill respectively. These swords can then be claimed to trigger specific effects during her Fleurdelys form by performing a Plunging Attack with Carthetyia, which also counts as Aero Erosion damage:
  • The divinity sword increases the Aero Erosion DMG and reduces its damage intervals by 50 percent for nearby enemies.
  • The discord sword raises all affected enemies' Aero Erosion stacks to the maximum stacks among them when they're hit by Fleurdelys' basic attack five, mid-air attack two, Resonance Skill two, or heavy attack two.
  • Finally, the virtue sword stagnates the enemies after Fleurdelys' basic attack four and increases her interruption resistance.

• Once you have all three swords claimed by Cartethyia and the Resonance Liberation ready, you can activate it to trigger the Manifest state and switch to Fleurdelys. This state lasts for 12 seconds and you can freely switch between Cartethyia and Fleurdelys during it by pressing your Liberation button.
• During the Manifest state, you get different attack sets on Fleurdelys. All your attacks build a bit of Conviction, which is the Forte bar that you get on Fleurdelys. Once you reach 120 Conviction, you can activate your special Resonance Liberation, dealing massive damage in a straight line and switching back to Cartethyia.
• You lose 50 percent of your Max HP when you enter the Manifest state and gain it back when you exit it using the special Resonance Liberation.
