Corruption Spew	Lu Hongliu tilts her head back, spewing blood across the battlefield. Simply back up out of range of this attack.
Bite	If you are knocked down, or stay in close range after a series of claw attacks, Lu Hongliu will try to grapple you and bite you with a series of bites. Focus on dodging this attack at all costs, as this attack can be devas𝕴tat🌠ing to recover from.

Phase Two

In phase two, Lu Hongliu retains all of the same attacks, and gains a few extra attacks

At the start of this phase, Lu Hongliu will topple over, appearing weak.

Wait for her to fall completely and sit still for a moment. This is a great time to follow up with some quick extra attacks or spells to do extra damage.

Phase Two Attacks	Details
Standing Double-Time Claws	Lu Hongliu's standing claw attacks last for twice as long, so be wary before attacking.
Jump	Occasionally, Lu Hongliu will leap straight into the air. Once again, you will have to dodge this attack with a well-timed swift step.
Extended Corruption Spew	When Lu Hongliu spews corruption at you, her range is a lot longer. You'll either need to back up even farther, or run in a complete circle to avoid this attack.

How To Defeat Lu Hongliu

The key to defeating Lu Hongliu is to master your dodges.

You cannot really parry or block her attacks, but you can dodge every single one of them.

Like most dodges, the perfect time to dodge is right before the attack strikes.

From there, you'll want to dodge her attacks as they come at you, and then follow-up with quick attacks that build Skyborn Might and spells like so:

1. Dodge - When Lu Hongliu attacks, try to dodge toward her at a diagonal, so that you circle around to her backside.
2. Follow-Up Attack - Once you've dodged, attack her with two quick light attacks of your weapon of choice. Occasionally, you might be able to get a third strike in, but it's risky.
3. Ranged Spells - When Lu Hongliu spews corruption, take the opportunity to back away and launch a ranged spell of your choice at her.

If you have a spell that can inflict a condition like burning on Lu Hongliu, this is ideal, as you'll deal damage more often in this way.

The trick to defeating Lu Hongliu is understanding her movement and attacks. She is very quick, meaning you can't really use heavy attacks to defeat her.
