Among the famous (and infamous) locales of Azeroth, Blackrock Mountain stands out not just for its great height, but the history that has taken place within and around it, the peoples and monsters that have called it home, and for the massive instances that attract adventurers from all over. In World of Warcraft: Classic's Season of Discovery, this volcano's time to shine arrived with the game's fourth ph🐟ase.

Bla🐲ckrock Mountain serves as a hub for several high-level dungeons and raids in the Classic era of the game. They are Blackrock Depths, Blackrock Spire, Moltenﷺ Core, and Blackwing Lair. With phase four allowing adventurers to reach max level, this location is a hotspot for glory-seekers and treasure-hunters alike.
Where To Find Blackrock Mountain
Blackrock Mountain is a massive volcano which looms over the central mountain ranges of the Eastern Kingdoms. Before its first major eruption during Ragnaros' explosive entrance into the mortal p𒁏lane hundreds of years ago, the peaks it lies amongst were all called the Redridge Mountains.
Blackrock Mountain sits on the border of the two blac♏kened zones, and is accessed by gates into both of them. Additionally, when inside the mountain, you will find yourself in a separate global chat channel that is uniqu༺e to the mountain.
How To Enter Blackrock Mountain Through The Searing Gorge
As it was originally part of the Redridge Mountains that lay on the north side of Blackrock Mountain, the Searing Gorge is where the northern gate into the mountain is found. To💙 enter the legendary mountain from the Searing Gorge, you will need to tr💎avel to the zone's southwestern reaches.
The easiest way to get to the mountain's northern gate is to start your journey at the dark iron dwarves of the Thorium Brotherhood's town of Thorium Point, which sits on a ridge in no💝rthern Searing Gorge, directly opposite Blackrock Mountain.
The Horde and the Alliance both have flightmasters in this town, and upon arriving, you can easily travel south th💛rough a natural corridor found on the zone's western side. Traveling down this path to the mountain makes it easy to avoid the hostile dark iron dw🐬arves that populate the zone's central chasm, The Cauldron.
If you haven't been to Throrium Point before, Searing Gorge can be accessed by traveling through the Badlands to the east, or Loch Modan to the northeast. If coming from Loch Modan, though, you will need to have the key to the dwarven tunnel connecting the two zones or be able to lockpick it.
How To Enter Blackrock Mountain Through The Burning Steppes
Being the battlefield where the Second War ended, the Burning Steppes lies directly north of what remains of the Redridge Mountains and is where the southern gate into Blackrock Mountain is found. With Blackrock Mountain sitting on the zone's northwestern border with the Searing Gorge, the giant ramp leading into the mountain rises out of the Burning Steppes' western foothillsꦿ.
Traveling through the Burning Steppes to Blackrock Mountain is quite simple, with a major road winding its way through the zone from east to west. The Alliance and Horde have outposts here too, these being Morgan's Vigil in the southeast, and Flame Crest in the north, respectively.
Both of these outposts have f🐼lightmasters, and following the paths from them to🥂 the zone's main road will lead you directly into Blackrock Mountain, should you fly into them.
If you haven't been to the Burning Steppes before, and thus Morgan's Vigil and Flame Crest, you can easily enter the zone through Blackrock❀ Pass in the southeast, directly west of Morgan's Vigil. This is where the zone's major road leads souಌth into the Redridge Mountains.
