The Bad

You can also bypass all those enemies by being good at riding, which all in all isn’t hard to achieve. You’ll get plenty of practice as you level up, and it can even be a fun part of the challenge to decide what route to take in order to aggro the least number o𒅌f enemies.

The Comfortable Rider's Barding shows the limitations of the Mount Equipment feature, since the few options that there are don’t go beyond the basics. People that have mounts like the Sky Golem (that can’t use Mount Equipment) still use them, since the recollection benefit it gives outweighs most options.

The Inflatable Mount Shoes let your mount run across water, treating it as if it were a norm🌳al solﷺid surface. While there are mounts that work underwater, they don’t go as fast as a ground mount on land, meaning that your speed is already improved.

Beyond that, even if un🐷derwater Mounts were faster, not having to switch between mounts is already making you get to places faster, and you’re even dodging most enemies to boot. While flying is still the best way to travel, you can’t do that everywhere, and certain dungeons are so filled with lakes and ponds that not being able to water walk is a pain.

The Bad

The original ability to꧋ water walk was exclusive to the Water Striders, bug-like creatures that were obtainable in Pandaria. The Inflatable Mount Shoes mimic the ability of the Water Striders, but with one added limitation: if you receive any kind of damage, you’ll sink.

Players were under🌞standably mad at the change, since an ability most of them farmed for so long ago was essentially nerfed. While the reasoning was understandable (all you could see during that time was a sea of Water Striders), it s💝till felt bad for the people that made the effort back in the day.
