Specifically, you’ll end up inside a cave that can only be accessed via the whirlpool. Inside the cave, known as the Bashal’Aran Collapse, you can meet the spirit of a demon hunter, Telarius Voidstrider. He drops a quest item, Writings of the Dark Herald. There are also several other highborne spirits lurking here. When you complete this quest, you’ll also be rewarded with an achievement, Ghosts in the Dark. To get out of the cave, speak to the druid there, Bielara Ivyshroud. She will teleport you out of the cave, back in🐟to the hills of Darkshore.
This quest is only available to alliance players.
9 Hidden Lake In Darnassus ꩵ
If you’ve ever wanted to go to a serene, pri𝐆vate lake for some chilled fishing🍃 then this area is for you. Above Darnassus, tucked away in the hills to the west of Gnarlpine Hold, you can find a tranquil body of water.
If you enjoy roleplaying, this spot could come in handy! The lake is only accessible via a flying mount, and it’s secluded within the hill. It has a dock and a boat and ﷽is a perfect example of Teldrassil’s gorgeous scenery.
8 Cam✱psite I𓂃n Stonetalon Mountains
Along the north-western ridge in Stonetalon Mount🦹ains is a desolate area that’s perfect for relaxation and roleplay. West of Stonetalon Peak you’ll find a small campsite in the mountains with a spectacular view. It’s an ideal location for telling ghost stories around the campfire.
Further west there is a small lake with highborne ruins, and an abandoned tauren hut with plenty of open spacไe. It would seem to be the perfect place for a retired adventurer who wants to live a quiet life after saving Azero🤪th hundreds of times!
7 The Waking Shores Dive Bar 🌟
Off the coast of The Waking Shores of the Dragon Isles, you can experience an underwater disco. Head over to the Hissing Gotto on the north coast to discover an area that’s teaming with fun. The dive bar has diving boards of varying levels, a Tortoll📖an ꧙and Tuskarr playing hearthstone, and inflatable seahorses.
If you swim down you’ll come to the underwater bar, The Bubble Bath. Here, you can use the 𒀰dance pad, buy very potent beverages, and swim with enormous puffer fish called Cuddles. What’s not to loveꦉ?

6 ⛦ Sledding Dwarves In Dun Morogh
Dun Morogh is one of the best areas of Azeroth to experienc♛e winter. Don’t forget to wrap up warm if you brave the snowy mountains and gusting winds. Speaking of mountains, in the hills above Ironforge, you can find several dwarves 🔴sledding.
You can buy your own Magical Snow Sled toy from the Iskaara Tuskarr in The Azure Span. Also, during the December Winter Veil event, you can get the Red Wooden Sled toy if you prefer to sled with a friend or companion pet. When you’re all tuckered out from sledd💯ing, head over to one of the cozy inns for some snacks and a warm brew.
5 Steam Pools Goblin Spa And Resort🧸
In the south of Feralas, ♔you can come across a relaxing goblin spa and resort. This spot is run by the goblins of Gadgetzan, and i🍃t’s a perfect retreat for adventures. The area has an array of interactive NPCs to talk to, sun loungers by the lake, and even a mount cleaning area.
Unfortunately, the resort staff don’t sell any consumables,♛ so you’ll have to remember to bring your own snacks! However, this out-of-the-way spot offers a great opportunity if you enjoy roleplay and want to experience 🌌a bustling beach. Why not head over there with some guildies and have a beach party?
4 ♊ Fallen Dragon of Kul’Tiras 𝔍
Many people enjoy flying up to the top of the highest areas of zones, butꦑ not all of them have fun discoveries at the top. Atop the Waning Gla❀cier that looms over Stormsong Valley and Tiragarde Sound are remains of a dragon and its rider.
The dragon’s rider seems to have been an orc based on the skeleton and weaponry. The dragon also seems to have been carrying a crate of Kul’Tiran supplies when it was presumably injured by the two lances protruding from its side. It's a fun discovery that leaves you plenty of clues to work out what may have happened to them.
3 🔯 ඣ Old Ironforge
Ironforge is full of surprises, and hidden below it is another. Head over to the center of Ironforge where The High Seat is, southwest of the Great Forge. Inside this room, there is a passageway heading underground. Down here you'll find a massive cavern full of diamonds and ancient dwarven walkways.
This was also where you could find the petrified diamond body of King Magni Bronzebeard. Since the Leg𒐪ion expansion, Magni has been awake, but the cavern is still a great place to explore!
2 ♓Mists of Pandaria Cinematic Lo𓆉cation
The Mists of Pandaria expansion trailer is a fun and tense clip that many fans of WoW are familiar with. However, you might not know that the location can be visited in game. If you head over to the Jade Forest in Pandaria, you can find a location called the Shrine of Fellowship northeast of Grookin Hill.
At this area, you’ll come across a bridge with an interactive incense burner (coordinates 34.33). Just like Chen Stormstout in the trailer, you can click the burner to straighten it. This will earn you the achievement, Restoring the Balance.

Off the southern coast of the Azure Span, you can find Lev’al Rock Isle. It’s barely noticeable on the map, but the coordinates are 18.95. This secret island is home to a huge crab called Crustosteo. The island is littered with bones and weaponry, and ther🎶e’s a group of crabs that wear dragon bones. They walk around in a line as if mimicking a sea serpent. It’s a fun spot to visit if you’re looking𒉰 for adventure!
