On a rotation, Timewalking Events will allow you to collect rewards and revisit old dungeons with other players. There’s plenty of items to work towards, and those that drop from timewalkin🗹g bosses. Don’t miss out!
What Is Timewalking?
Timewalking Events allow you to jump back into old dungeons with a group and complete old content for new/current rewards. Your gear will be scaled down to the timewalking dungeon you are joining. The items that drop in these instances will be scaled up to the current expansion.
You’ll also be able to collect a currency known as Timewarped Badges from completing event quests and timewalking dungeons. These can be traded in for cool items such as mounts and toys.
You can check your calendar in-game to see when the next Timewalking Event starts. Each event is in order of release, so the Wrath Timewalking Event will always follow the Burning Crusade Event.
Reputation Bonuses
During Timewalking Events, you’ll get a buff that increases reputation gains for that expansion. For example, during the Burning Crusade Timewalking Event, you’ll earn 50 percent more reputation with factions such as the Keepers of Time.

The Burning Crusade
You’ll be able to run the Black Temple raid. Use the group finder to gather anywhere between ten to 30 players. Then, head to Shattrath and speak to Vormu. You can find her beside Cupri on the upper level of the Terrace of Light.
Wrath of the Lich King
You’ll be able to run the Ulduar raid. Use the group finder to gather anywhere between ten to 30 players. Then, head to Dalaran in Northrend and speak to Vormu. You can find her beside Auzin beside the fountain in Runeweaver Square.
Cataclysm
You’ll also be able to run the Firelands raid. Use the group finder to gather anywhere between ten to 30 players. Then, head to Stormwind or Orgrimmar and speak to Vormu. You can find her at the Earth Shrine.
Timewalking Gear Scaling
Your gear will be scaled down to the Timewalking Instance that you enter. This is a great opportunity to use old items that have been collecting dust i🐎n your bank. Perhaps there’s a fun trinket you have lying around that you could use again.
Timewalking Rewards
During Timewalking, dungeon bosses can drop rewards that they would normally drop on Heroic difficulty. For example, despite the difficulty being normal, you can get the Blue Proto-Drake from Skadi the Ruthless in Utgarde Pinnacle. You’ll also have the chance of receiving the Reins of the Infinite Timereaver. This epic dragon mount only drops duriꦐng the Timewalking Event.
Timewarped Badges
During each Timewalking Event, you’ll be able to complete quests that reward you with Timewarped Badges.
