How To Get The Noble Flying Carpet
The Noble Flying Carpet is an extremely rare drop from the Loot-Filled Basket, so far rec💖orded to be less than a one percent chance.
The Loot-Filled Basket is given as a reward from Zinnia Brooks (Alliance) or Sylnaria Fareflame (Horde) after turning in the quest 'Feathered Fiend.'
Luckily, there are no prerequisites for this quest to be available, simply requiring you to defeat an NPC named Daetan Swiftplume.
Although Daetan can be defeated at any level, you will only receive the Loot-Filled Basket if you are leveled 60+.
First, head to Goldshire in the Elwynn Forest or Razor Hill in Durotar, depending on your faction. If the event is active, you should see a large 𝔉golden star symbol on your map labeled as the 'Large Duck Nest.' Head hereꦦ to see Daetan's empty nest and get ready to summon him.
Every five to ten minutes, a giant and hard-to-miss golden egg will spawn nearby that can be towe⛎d over to 𝓰the nest. Once this is done, he will immediately come flying down and begin the encounter.
The golden egg can be a bit glitchy, so it's recommended to avoid dragging the egg through water and to not mount up.
Defeating him should be relatively easy, as there will usuall𓆏y be plenty of other players nearby ready to help.
When defeated, he will drop the Noblegarden Trinket, automatically starting the quest 'Feathered Fiend' and guiding you to your respective NPC to turn in the quest. The Noblegarden Trinket can only be looted once daily, so usinꦬg different toons will give you a better chan✤ce.
